Berry Hot Dog Appetizers
1 package of hot dogs
1/4 cup of any berry flavored preserves
2 tablespoons prepared mustard (try the flavored mustards
Slice hot dogs into 5 pieces per hot dog. Set aside. In medium serving bowl, mix preserves and mustard together until well mixed. Heat on high in microwave for 15 seconds. Add hot dogs to bowl and coat with sauce. Cook in microwave 3 to 5 minutes or until completely warmed. Stir while cooking, at one minute intervals to coat hot dogs. Serve with toothpicks. You can triple this recipe and keep warm on LOW in the crockpot for up to 4 hours. Also can substitute mini meatballs, sausage slices or mini sausages in place of the hot dogs. |
